Private Security Patrol

Description: Private Security Patrol is a Justice Institute course consisting of Basic Standards Training I and II. The course is designed to satisfy the mandatory training requirements approved by the Registrar of Security Programs Division. It provides students with the theory and practical skills to obtain certification for licensing in the private security industry in BC.

Hours of Instruction: BST 1: 40 Hours, BST 2: 24 Hours

Tuition: $568.00 (includes manual, handouts)

Justice Institute Fee: $50.00

Total: $618.00

Materials Required: BST 1 Manual, BST 2 Manual

Entrance Requirements:  
- Minimum 19 years of age
- Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant
- Ability to speak/write English
- Clean criminal record for the past 10 years
